Marlin Lodge offers a variety of complimentary non-motorised water activities, including ocean kayaking, hobycat sailing, windsurfing and snorkelling in front of the lodge at high tide.

A trained staff member will be on hand to guide where needed. All equipment is state-of-the-art and serviced regularly.

You can also opt to relax in any of the leisure areas at Marlin Lodge, including our two unique gazebos, or spend the day lounging in an around our freshwater pool.

In our air-conditioned reading lounge you'll find an international collection of books as well as local board games.

Horse Riding
Benguerua Island is packed with adventure and one of the many ways to discover our unique beaches, freshwater lakes and island culture is a guided tour on horseback.

Marlin Lodge, in conjunction with our neighbouring lodge, Benguerua Lodge, offers guided tours to various locations around the island.

Spectacular views of the coast can be seen from high-lying areas and the village can be explored on the way to the dunes of South Point.

Experience levels range from the complete novice to seasoned riders. Helmets and half chaps are provided for your comfort and safety, and all rides are guided. For more experienced riders, a canter along the beach is an exhilarating experience. A total of ten horses are available.

A ride departing from Marlin Lodge, a tour of the island, and return to Marlin Lodge is US$92 per person.

A ride from Benguerua Lodge or to Benguerua Lodge is US$102 per person as it includes a one-way vehicle trip (either to or from Benguerua Lodge).
